Australian Engineering Excellence Awards

Engineers Australia's Engineering Excellence Awards program encourages and celebrates engineering excellence by identifying, recognising and promoting excellence in the science and practise of engineering.

 

The Australian Engineering Excellence Awards 2008 will acknowledge and celebrate the world class standard of Australian engineering at a formal dinner and awards ceremony in the Great Hall of Parliament House on 19 November 2008. As the highlight of the engineering calendar it is anticipated that in excess of 500 of the professions leaders, decision makers and policy setters as well as the media will be in attendance.

 

The awards’ program acknowledges and celebrates the world class standard of Australian engineering. The engineering profession, together with its associated clients, industries and regulators, present their achievement to their peers as well as government, industry and private sector leaders. The Governor – General, as patron of the organisation, will be invited to be the key note speaker at the national event.
