Executive of the ASBSH

The administration of the Society is carried out by the Chairman, Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer, known as the Executive. For technical events, the Executive is assisted by Technical Convenors (nominally one for each State or Regional Centre) who will co-opt members, as required by the nature of the event, to form an Organising Committee. Where specialist expertise is desirable, the Technical Convenor may invite non-members to join the Organising Committee.

The Constitution of the ASBSH

The Constitution of the Society has been framed in simple language and is hopefully free of ambiguity. The formulators of the Society had only one primary objective in view when setting down the rules for its administration and that is to enhance the discipline of bulk solids handling through the various channels available to it.
