Engineers Australia, the Department of Defence and the Australian Society for Defence Engineering invite you to attend the DMO/EA/ASDE Defence Engineering Conference 2010, to be held in Adams Hall, ADFA on Tuesday 23 November 2010.
The Conference theme will be: "The Engineering Challenges of delivering capability in a SRP environment without compromising safety"
Attending this conference will be an excellent opportunity for Department of Defence and Defence Industry engineers to network and discuss engineering challenges in delivering capability in the current reform environment.

Dress
The Australian Defence Force Academy is a defence training establishment for leaders of the ADF. Dress and bearing of visitors is expected to be of a high standard. There is a hat policy that must be followed at all times. All military members attending ADFA in uniform, must wear a hat at all times, while walking the grounds or outside buildings of ADFA. The ADFA Café precinct is the only non-saluting area within ADFA.
Emergency Procedures
The use of the Australian Defence Force Academy facilities requires that fire and emergency procedures are followed. A dedicated emergency control notice board is located on each floor of each building. Refer to the map of the Australian Defence Force Academy to identity the designated area to gather in case of evacuation of buildings; oval 81 below the main parade ground.
Smoking
Smoking must be conducted 25 metres away from any building within ADFA or in the designated smoking areas.
Parking
Personnel are requested to park their vehicles in car-park 91. Please do not park in reserved areas. If car park is full please use car park 90. Refer to the map of the Australian Defence Force Academy.
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
Participants are to adhere to Australian Defence Force Academy OHS and Building Emergency Control Organisation policies and procedures. Please be aware this is a working area and noise needs to be kept to a minimum.
