NOTE FROM THE CHAIR

Colleagues

As Chairman of the National Committee for Construction Engineering (NCCE), I am delighted to advise that the previously mentioned Construction Management Series is now a reality and is commencing this year in response to your requests. Engineering Education in conjunction with the NCCE has jointly promoted this course. I commend it to you and ask you to check out the link on this web page to EEA where you will find the course details.

NCCE February Meeting

The NCCE held a teleconference on 7th February and discussed various topics:

Website

  • We are placing a link to the ACA website so that you can access the videos of the ACAA Finalists for not only this year but previous years.
  • We are placing on the website, in the Publications section, an important work on Lean Construction produced by Worley Parsons.
  • We are upgrading our website to include names of the NCCE panel members with short bios to help you identify your local representative should you wish to contribute to our important work.

Eminent Speaker Tour 2011

We understand our Eminent Speaker Tour last year, Alistair Gibb from the UK, was both informative and met with a favorable response from all who attended. NCCE were privileged to support the tour which has helped raise the profile of NCCE.
