Peter Stewart has 40 years experience in the civil engineering construction industry. Peter holds a Civil Engineering degree from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, Scotland, and is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (London) and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia. Peter has gained significant international work experience having worked in the UK, South Africa, Hong Kong and Australia. Peter was honoured with the Australian Civil Engineer of the Year Award 2005 by the Board of the College of Civil Engineers of Engineers Australia for the excellence of his contribution to civil engineering across Australia. Peter is Chairman of the National Committee for Construction Engineering one of Engineers Australia's support groups that represents over 5000 construction engineers in Australia. The NCCE is the Engineers Australia group which provides support to the ACA Award. |
About Us
The National Committee for Construction Engineering (NCCE) is one of five specialist groups affiliated with the Civil College . We represent approximately 5000 members involved in construction engineering.
Committee Members
The NCCE Committee consists of a representative from each state or division of Engineers Australia. Committee members are selected by nomination or by election at divisional level.

Ben Gavranich is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and a Chartered Professional Engineer. He is also a Registered Builder with the Builders' Registration Board of WA. Ben has over 37 years of experience in the construction industry working for major Australian construction contractors in WA, SA, NT and NSW and with a few years working in Thailand for John Hollar Asia. Ben's experience is in civil, building and rail construction. He is currently working for Leighton Contractors in WA as an Operations Manager. |
