Quality Management and Safety

The NCCE seeks representation on this issue via reciprocal involvement with the National Committee on Quality, Environmental Engineering Society, Risk Engineering Society and the Australian Cost Engineering Society.

Competence in Construction

The NCCE constantly reviews areas of competency in the Australian construction industry. Most recently we identified the need for short courses that address dispute avoidance and tendering.

Interests of Professional Engineers

The committee oversees industry reforms and legislative changes affecting engineers and instigates appropriate action when needed. The NCCE acts as an advisory body to the Engineers Australia Policy Unit when a formal response to government or media is required.
