Alice Springs projects scoop top gong for 2009 Engineering Excellence Awards

Alice Springs project took out top gong for this year's Excellence Awards.  Crowne Plaza "Solar Array" took out the 2009 Engineeering Excellence Award with Desert Knowledge Solar Centre taking out the 2009 Engineering Excellence for Research.  The Crowne Plaza also took out the ANZSES Sustainability Award.  These projects were entered by CAT Projects Pty Ltd, headed by Lyndon Frearson and Grant Brehendorf.  Grant won the 2007 National Technologist of the Year.
