The Company
Our client is a leading electrical distributor, seeking an enthusiastic and determined DMS specialist to join its Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Section within the System Control Branch. The SCADA Section is responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of new SCADA and related communication technologies to meet business requirements for Electricity Networks.
The Position
The successful candidate will be part of a small team of technical specialists responsible for providing management, development and support of all the SCADA Master Station and association applications.
Skills Required
- Electrical & Computer engineering
- Unix & Linux Environment experience
- SCADA system support experience, including administration and maintenance
- DMS Development and Implementation skills (GE, ABB, SNC, LnC….)
- Administrator or Development experience
- Experience in SCADA protocols including DNP3 and Conitel.
- At least three years related experience
- Experience in project management
- Knowledge and experience in formal change management, version control and incident management processes
- Communications network LAN/WAN experience
- RDMS administration, specifically Oracle 9 / 10
