The 2010 Engineering Careers Expo delivered outstanding exhibitions that served to not only promote employment opportunities in engineering but also celebrate Victorian engineering excellence and advocate the importance of engineering leadership within the profession.

The Engineering Expo 2010 demonstrated to audiences how Engineers ‘Make it so'. The ‘Make it so' tagline has been adopted from Engineers Australia's national marketing campaign that has recently been launched as a model to help promote the value of engineering and attract people to the profession.

More than 70 companies, from a range of industry sectors exhibited at the expo to provide engineering industry insight in areas including employment, education and career opportunities, career path resources, engineering capability and engineering leadership.

Some of the services available on the day were free seminars, talk to engineers, resume advice from professionals, networking opportuinities with colleagues, peers and prospective employers and access to professional career advice.
