Vice President, Maintenance, Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation, Taiwan
Karl Ulrich Dobler has been the Senior Advisor/Railway Operation Division of Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation since 2011. From 2006 he was Vice President of Maintenance Subdivision, Railway Operation Division of Taiwan High Speed Corp. Prior to this he was responsible for rollingstock, signalling, communications, power and OCS. Karl has had a long line of roles including, the Managing Director of Daimler Chrysler Rail Systems and Adtranz Signal GmgH in Germany; Engineering Director of ABB Daimler Benz Transportation; Vice President of Alcatel Canada; and General Manager of the SEL Division of Alcatel Canada Inc. (Merger of ITT and CGE).
