Register Now For This Wednesday Tour
Aviation Training for Aviation Engineers is a training establishment instructing Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Avionics, Mechanical & Structures) The site visit includes a tour of the Avionics Workshop, Structures Workshop
and the Hangar.
In the Hangar there is a Nomad (on lone from the Army Air Museum at Oakey) which will be open for full access, there various Aircraft Engines on display from a Gypsy Major Engine awaiting restoration, Lycoming Engine Cutaway, a Continen tal Engine Run Rig, R200 Radial, GE-T58 Turbine from a Bell UH-1 Iroquois Helicopter to the Allison 250 Turbine in the Nomad.
Visitors must wear closed in shoes
