- A report on activities undertaken in 2011
- Election of the 2012 COPEP committee
- Preliminary planning for the year's technical and social events
We would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to actively participate in the Coastal, Ocean and Port Engineering Panel by nominating yourself for a position on the committee. If you are interested in a committee position, please email or fax the attached nomination form to Sharleen Mantle at Engineers Australia (or fax 08 9481 4332) by Monday, 13February 2012. The nominations received will be presented for voting (if required) and approval during the AGM.
About the Coastal, Ocean and Port Engineering Panel
The Coastal, Ocean and Port Engineering Panel promotes the special interests of coastal and maritime engineers within Engineers Australia and aims to encourage people working in these fields to become active participants in its affairs. As the name of the Panel implies, these interests extend from coastal engineering issues and projects, such as port developments, seawalls, breakwaters and coastal estates, to ocean engineering challenges associated with offshore oil and gas projects. For all of these projects, the Panel is interested in the technical, theoretical, practical and environmental aspects.
