ATS - Introduction to the Revised Shotcrete Guide
Members of the Queensland ATS Group and visitors are invited to attend our Technical Session to be held on Thursday, 8th March, 2012. The topic is “Introduction to the Revised Shotcrete Guide”.
Our speaker is Stefan Bernard. Stefan has worked as an academic, consulting engineer, and research consultant in concrete technology for 18 years. He is chair of the Australian Shotcrete Society and chair of the ASTM sub-committee C9.42 on Fibre-Reinforced Concrete. He has published 85 papers on many aspects of shotcrete and fibre reinforced concrete technology both for mining and civil applications.
This presentation will be an outline of the recent second edition of the Recommended Practice for Shotcreting in Australia, published by the Australian Shotcrete Society together with the Concrete Institute of Australia.
