Our seminar theme takes on the durability of both new and repaired structures, with Dr Liam Holloway reporting on the recent lease of life given to iconic historic structure His Majesty’s Theatre.
Our interstate speaker Mr Anton Aldred identifies the “eleven causes of corrosion” and strategies to address with hydrophobic structural concretes including case studies across commercial and civil sectors.
Also joining us from interstate Mr David Lynch reports on state of the art in retroactive approaches using crystalline materials to heal cracks and simultaneously improve waterproofing. We trust our seminar will provide essential background for corrosion prevention, maintenance and future proofing of concrete.
