The theme for CORE 2012 is “Global Perspectives”, a particularly apt subject given the key role played by many Australian railways in international logistics chains as well as the increasing focus in Australia on the role that technologies, which are well established overseas, such as high speed rail and urban light rail, can play in addressing Australia’s transport and growth challenges.
CORE 2012 will follow the format of previous events combining two days of high quality paper presentations in parallel streams and a trade exhibition, technical tours with a Gala Dinner, RTSA Awards ceremony and other networking opportunities.
