Engineers Australia exists to develop the excellence of the profession of engineering in Australia. It regards conferences as an effective means of doing this. Engineers Australia is always ready to conduct or support conferences that are aimed at bringing together the engineering team in order to promote the development of engineering and to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas.

ASWEC 2010

Established in 1986, ASWEC is a leading technical forum for the exchange of peer-reviewed research outcomes and industry best-practice in software engineering. It attracts a wide range of participants including software engineering researchers, practitioners and educators for across Australia, its regional neighbours, and from other international locations. The overall programme will provide numerous opportunities for academic and industry participants to interact with and learn from each other.

SETE 2010
Systems Engineering Test & Evaluation Conference

SETE 2010 will be held in what is regarded as Australia's Defence capital, Adelaide. This year's conference theme is:"Meeting the Challenges of Introducing Complex Capability". As capabilities become increasingly complex and the demand to integrate and network these capabilities grows, the need for the appropriately skilled people, process and tools to keep pace with the introduction of these capabilities is crucial. Engineering Leadership Conference 2010

The Centre for Engineering Leadership and Management has joined forces with Young Engineers Australia in bringing to you the Engineering Leadership Conference 2010.
This conference promises to deliver a dynamic and thought provoking combination of high profile speakers and challenging presentations appealing to experienced engineering leaders and those transitioning into leadership roles.
Over two days, themes will explore - Leadership in Business, Environment & Community and Pathways to Leadership. Engineers at all levels will learn how to lead the economic and environmental recovery while gaining insights and wisdom from some great leaders.
The conference aims to challenge engineers to be agile, inspire and lead for success.

Practical Responses to Climate Change 2010
Call for Abstracts deadline 2 April
This National Committe on Water Engineering (NCWE) conference will provide a forum for presenting responses to climate change within the water sector with particular emphasis on recent climate change science and impact research, vulnerability assessment techniques and adaptation strategies. It will be an opportunity for engineers, scientists, planners and academics to present and debate current and future practices for adapting to changes in our environment from the catchment to the coast.
