CSBP Kwinana, owned by Wesfarmers, manufactures, among other products,ammonia, nitric acid, ammonium nitrate and sodium cyanide for use in manyagricultural, mining and industrial applications. Some applications include nickelrefining, gold production and fertilisers.
The Kwinana plant was commissioned in 1968, and has been through a number of expansions since then. Most recently in 2008, CSBP Kwinana completedan expansion of its ammonium nitrate production facility, doubling its ammoniumnitrate production capacity
