About the Presentation
Join us on this interesting site tour of the Geelong Technology Precinct including the Australian Carbon Fibre Research Facility. (see Deakin Map ref / the attached document above)
The tour will be followed by a Dinner Meeting at the Deakin Lakehouse Restaurant. (Deakin map ref. Jd) at 6.30 PM with further explanation of the AFFRIC, Carbon Fibre technology and questions by Associate Professor Dr Bronwyn Fox from the AFFRIC.
Please meet at Car Park 13, Deakin University, Waurn Ponds, Geelong ( Melways Ref Map 464 H5) at 4.45 PM.
The subsidised cost for dinner is $20 - payable by cash on the evening please. Drinks at bar prices.
Note: The Lakehouse restaurant and GTP are within walking distance (5 minutes).
