The moment you've all been waiting for, Engineers Without Borders is pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the EWB event of the year The 2009 EWB National Conference:
Engage 2009: Past. Present. Future
Held in Melbourne from 26-28th November, Engage 2009 is EWB's 4th annual national conference representing the premier gathering of students and professionals working or interested in international aid work, sustainable development, design and technology.
Delegates will converge on Melbourne for three days of presentations from internationally renowned speakers and thought provoking and interactive displays and workshops, including the 'Meet the Makers Expo' an interactive expo allowing delegates the chance to use demonstration models, construct small scale technologies and quiz innovative designers. Engage 2009 also provides career and networking opportunities and an inspiring environment for the exchange of ideas and further learning.
The 2009 conference will focus on the past, present and future of development, sustainability and technology using practical, theoretical and technical approaches. It will emphasise the human face of engineering with a specific focus on EWB's regional and technical programs.

In addition to the fantastic conference social activities, this year we are also featuring a pre-conference day on Wednesday the 25th of November.
