We are pleased to announce the inaugural S2P Conference. The conference provides a platform for discussions of the role of internships in the development of Engineering students into professional practitioners, enabling an interdisciplinary and cross industry conversation. The Conference is intended as a place for engagement, presentation, examination and experimentation of ideas that promote and support engineering internships.
In addition to an impressive line-up of industry, community, academic and student speakers, the conference will also include roundtable discussions and interactive presentations.

- Set up a national engineering internship program (NEIP).

Keynote Speaker: Gail Jackman "A Safe and Sustainable Cambodia"
In 2011, the Year of the Humanitarian Engineer, 12 final year students from UniSA's 4 Divisions travelled to Siem Reap, Cambodia for a 6-week humanitarian project with Project Manager Gail Jackman. A multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural project, students provided one-on-one mentoring for Cambodian community members and worked with in-country organisations that have volunteers from around the world.
