About the Tour

A coach tour will include obseriving approximately 60 landmarks in the morning and visiting engineering sites such as the Cement Works Museum and the Ford Discovery Centre in the afternoon. Roads, bridges, structures, electricity supply, water supply and transportation will all feature throughout the tour.


A booklet of notes with some historical facts and pictures will also be provided.

The tour will also include lunch at the Fyansford Hotel!

Cost

$40 (includes coach hire, lunch and entry to the Ford Discovery Centre) (Drinks at lunch are at your own cost)

Additional Information

Numbers will be limited by seats in the coach to approximately 50. Book early! Initial preference will be given to Geelong group and EHV members including partners. If warranted by sufficient interest, another tour may be organised later.

The 9.00 AM train from Melbourne is the Warrnambool train; it is advised to book with V Line on 136 196 prior. The return trip is a regular Geelong to Melbourne train.
