Central Queensland Engineering Risk Management Seminar
Hosted by the Burnett Regional Group and streamed live from Bundaberg to Gladstone, Rockhampton and Mackay.
Please join the Central Queensland regional groups of Engineers Australia for a Risk Management seminar streamed live from Bundaberg to Gladstone, Rockhampton and Mackay.
The seminar includes two risk related presentations and opportunities for dialogue between presenters and attendees across all participating regional groups.
SEMINAR: Dr Ronald Black, a senior consultant at QRMC Risk Management, will discuss how and why we undertake engineering risk management. Ron will also introduce the new standards and some applications.
Mr David Cox, a senior member of Brisbane City Council Disaster Coordination Centre and Chair of the QLD Risk Engineering Society, will discuss how their team responded to and is still leading the recovery of the January 2011 floods. David will also outline some post-flood mitigation efforts.
In response to requests from members for local risk management CPD, this event will count for 3 hours. We hope you take this opportunity to meet our speakers and update your risk management skills.
