Perth City Link, a Federal, State and Local government project, will change the face of Perth by reconnecting the CBD and Northbridge after 100 of separation by railway infrastructure.

The Perth City Link Rail Project is the first stage of this process by sinking the Perth – Fremantle railway between William Street and Lake Street.

The second stage involves the sinking of the Wellington Street Bus Station and this will be followed by the development of the land area between Wellington and Roe Streets into a vibrant mix of transit, commercial, retail and public zones. As part of the rail project, Perth Station will be extended and improved and all platforms will be connected to Perth Underground by an underground concourse.

The rail project is being delivered by the Perth City Link Rail Alliance, a consortium of John Holland Group and GHD with the Public Transport Authority, in a live operating rail and busy commuter environment. The Presentation will describe the engineering conceptual planning, construction procurement process and the current stage of delivery.
