The Concrete Institute has recently published and released the Second Edition of the Recommended Practice, Shotcreting in Australia; which was prepared by the Australian Shotcrete Society. The release of the publication presents an opportune time for the delivery of the 'Shotcrete Essentials Seminar', where an overview of the updates on the First Edition of the Recommended Practice will be provided.
Attendees of this seminar will receive a complimentary hardcopy of Shotcreting In Australia together with a detailed set of course notes.
This unique seminar will provide attendees with examples of work done on recent shotcrete projects and will cover a wide range of cross-sector perspectives on the topic; including perspectives from the point of view of a:

· Shotcrete researcher, and
· Fibres and Admixture specialists
The program incorporates a series of lectures on shotcrete, developed and led by industry professional and topic expert Dr Stefan Bernard and leading industry experts from each of the above industry sectors. This course provides essentials on shotcrete and knowledge on the topic that is applicable to all industry sectors. The program covers aspects relevant to consulting engineers, suppliers, civil contractors, those in the mining sector, researchers and encompasses practical aspects of shotcrete use. The program further incorporates the latest fibre and admixture technology that continues to pave the way to significantly improve the material properties of shotcrete and its numerous applications.The seminar includes morning and afternoon tea, lunch and after seminar drinks and networking opportunities.
