Brookfield Multiplex (BM) were the construction contractor for the steel framed City Square tower in Perth. This design for the tallest side core commercial building in the Southern Hemisphere was able to achieve significant cost savings and planning for ‘future use’ including tenant interconnectivity between floors whilst allowing earlier occupation. David Eden, BM Commercial Manager in charge of the project will take us through their steel experience.

Steel Fabricators acting as contractors for the construction of the steel frame will present the effect of the latest technology on costs of building construction and using examples demonstrate the cost competiveness of steel framing in todays’ market.
