Participants will learn about:
- routine and specialised mechanical and chemical treatments, electrochemical finishing, and coatings
- how the finishes will affect the appearance and performance of the stainless steel
- why and in what environment each surface finish should be used
- how the finish is achieved
Participants will receive a copy of the Australian Stainless Reference Manual on disc, as well as other reference material.
The workshops will be held on the following dates:
Brisbane - 23 February 2011
Sydney - 24 February 2011
Melbourne - 25 February 2011
(the workshop will be brought to SA and WA later in the year)
