Toowoomba - Surat Basin Tour
Short Description Engineers Australia invites you on board our all-day bus tour to the Surat Basin. We will be shown around the Kogan Creek Power Station and will hear what challenges are faced by the Western Downs Regional Council due to the developments in the Surat Basin

The Toowoomba Local Group is organising an all-day bus-tour to the Surat Basin.

We will me meeting at USQ at 7.30 am and head to the Kogan Creek Power Station. We will be receiving a guided tour of the Power Station from the bus, no PPE required. After the Power Station we will be going to Dalby (where you will have the opportunity to buy lunch). After lunch, the Western Downs Regional Council will be talking to us about the challenges and opportunities they face due to the growing developments in the Surat Basin.

We plan to be back at USQ by 3.00 pm.

This is a fantastic opportunity to see what is happening just at our doorstep. It’s a great chance to develop some insight into one of the fastest growing industries in Australia.
