Applying for Membership

To apply for membership of the Engineering,Science and Technology Professional Standards Society (ESTPSS), you must:

  • Provide details of the continuing professional development that you have undertaken in the preceding three years.
  • Provide evidence of the risk management strategies that you have in place in your business in accordance with the Engineers Australia Risk Management Strategies Guide.
  • Provide details of the practice's gross annual fee income to determine your class of membership.
  • Provide a certified full copy of your current public liability and professional indemnity insurance policies.
  • Provide the details of any professional indemnity insurance claims or alerts applying to your practice. For any claim provide the following information
  • value of the claim
  • type of claim (negligence, trade practices/fair trading, other)
  • value of fees for the project

NOTE: Applicants who are the subject of a current complaint investigation will not have their application processed until the complaint has been resolved.
