Engineers Australia has an active international program that helps our members to travel and work in many countries overseas via a series of agreements and accords.
Overseas Chapters
Chapters in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and the UK, as well as an interest group in the US, ensure that our members' needs are well looked after overseas. All members of Engineers Australia are welcome to join these overseas Chapters.
APEC Engineer Register
The APEC Engineer Register facilitates cross-border mobility for professional engineers in the APEC Region.
An APEC Engineer Register has been established in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Thailand and the United States of America.
Mutual Recognition Agreements
Engineers Australia has mutual recognition agreements with kindred organisations overseas to promote, facilitate and extend professional, social and commercial links; and to assist in advancing the mobility of engineering practitioners and the quality of engineering practice world-wide.
