Developments in this direction will be announced from time to time here and elsewhere.
Currently, there are three national engineering registers, the National Engineering Associates Register (NEAR), the National Engineering Technologists Register (NETR) and the National Professional Engineers Register (NPER). It will give information on where to send your application, how the assessment is made and how the outcome is notified. You do not have to join Engineers Australia in order to register. If you choose not to join Engineers Australia, you must complete a Registration Applicant''s Declaration in addition to other required forms.
