ITEE

Information, Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering (ITEE) is multi-disciplinary in nature. By definition, it is "the practice of the art and science of engineering for the purpose of achieving, inter alia, communication between individuals and societies for social and commercial interchange of information; the provision of equipment to facilitate daily living and the practice of commerce, business and industry; space exploration, resources exploration etc.

Information, Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering (ITEE) is concerned with research, design, development, manufacture, installation, operation, maintenance and management of systems in such areas as Communications and Telecommunications systems; Computer and Software Intensive systems; Information Engineering; Electronics Engineering; the Internet; Microelectronics and Optical Communications as applied to the generation, storage and transmission of information, voice and data communications, communications networks, integration and control of computer and software based systems.

The area of practice of Information, Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering has been established to distinguish Engineering Associates competent in the practice of Information, Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering.
