The page provides information on how to join Engineers Australia at the same time as applying for registration on NETR. Specifically, this page is for persons who have not yet successfully completed a competency-based assessment.
Registration on the National Engineering Technologists Register (NETR) is available to individuals that have satisfied the Australian Engineering Competency Standards Stage 2 for Engineering Technologists in their area of practice. The application process is designed to add value to individuals' practice skills by providing them an incentive to compile evidence for competency from their experience and to defend that evidence in front of their professional peers.
