National Engineering Registration Board
The Board met in Melbourne on 16 November 2012.
The Board resolved that persons subject to a CPD audit, who do not respond within six months of the audit notice, will be removed from the register, subject only to a formal appeal.
Registration in Management (on any of the National Registers) is to be available without the need to achieve EngExec; the application form has been modified accordingly.
Subcommittee on NETR and NEAR
The Board has established a subcommittee to work with the National Committee for Engienering Technologists Australia (NCETA) and the National Committee for Engineering Associates Australia (NCEAA) to grow the National Registers and prepare for National Registration.
Submissions to the Terms of Reference are invited before 1 February 2013.
