Engineers - We Need You As Mentors!
The Division has a mentor scheme for undergraduate engineers known as the EngMentor Scheme. It is run on an annual cycle - with students invited to register near the start of Semester One and a Meet Your Mentor Night being held a few weeks later. In the intervening period we match up volunteer Engineers from the appropriate disciplines to mentor these students and tell them the meeting date.
You are invited to register as a mentor at any time during the year - and we will be in touch with you during Semester One.
You may be called upon to advise in the areas of:
- Subject choice
- Career direction
- General support
Consider assisting a young engineer in their career.

Earn CPD Points at Home
At the Newcastle Division Office we have several videos available for hire. Each video counts towards your CPD points. Videos are available for a hire period of two weeks, with a deposit of $5.00 per video. Simply fill in the form in the document below and send it to Jo Papanicolaou at the Newcastle Division Office and we’ll post you the video, and you post it back when finished.
