About the Role
In this all-encompassing role you will provide technical direction on electrical and instrumentation design decisions and approve documentation to ensure engineering decisions are based on sound engineering practice. You will need to undertake technical investigations and complete appropriate design calculations. As part of the design team you will be involved in all facets of the project such as interaction with other disciplines, estimating, client discussions and design reviews. You will utilise your extensive experience with HV & LV switchgear, lighting and emergency lighting design, control systems, and project execution from start to finish and you will also attend site co-ordination meetings with relevant stakeholders.
About the Candidate
As the successful applicant you will hold an Electrical Engineering Degree having at least 3 years experience within the heavy industry sector. Ideally you will be a member of Engineers Australia and you will have experience with motor control, power distribution, as well as instrumentation and control system experience. You will also hold experience with electrical and instrumentation design engineering for material handling and processing plants.
