Cogeneration reduces energy cost at US university

ASME has a story on how a cogeneration plant helped to lower energy costs.

“A cogeneration plant uses one measure of natural gas twice—first for generating electric power in a campus-installed gas turbine and then passing the hot exhaust gases through a heat recovery system to produce steam (and only then exhausting up a stack).”
