Could you know the next Australian of the Year?
Being nominated for an Australian of the Year Award is a great honour. It is an excellent way to show a person that their efforts have been noticed and appreciated.
You are invited to nominate someone that you believe is exceptional, generous, innovative, spirited, dedicated or inspirational.
Your nominee does not have to be famous or known to you personally. They can be from any field of endeavour or making any kind of positive contribution to their community.
There are four categories in which you can nominate:
- Australian of the Year
- Young Australian of the Year (16 to 30 years)
- Senior Australian of the Year (60 years and over)
- Australia's Local Hero
