As part of WA’s Eminent Speaker Series, Emeritus Professor and winner of the 2010 Sir John Connell Medal, Paul Grundy, will speak about how engineers can work to reduce the risk of disasters.

The impact of disasters is most severe in impoverished and developing countries without the resilience to mitigate the impact or the capacity to recover quickly.
