Engineer talks about his humanitarian work
In the Year of Humanitarian Engineering, many divisions, colleges and societies are asking those who have worked in the field to speak about their experiences.
In Victoria, Dinesh Jayasuriya, an electrical and computer systems engineer, will talk about his two deployments with RedR; one in Jerusalem working with UNICEF as a data management specialist, and another working with UNOCHA in Pakistan as an information manager.
Dinesh will talk about what he has gained both personally and professionally through his humanitarian engineering.
