Female engineer to compete in cycling at the olympics
Emma Pooley will be in the road cycling at the Beijing Olympics. She studied engineering at Cambridge and is a fulltime PhD student studying soil engineering in Zurich. Although representing Britain, Emma spent the last two summers in Perth where the weather allows her to continue training.
