Free workshop offered at H2009 Conference

eWater has generously decided to offer their pre-conference workshop - Building a new eco-hydrological modeling platform for Australia - free of charge.

eWater is partnering with governments, industry and the research sector to develop a national eco-hydrological modeling platform for water resource planning and operation which works across jurisdictions and accounts for the full water cycle. The development of an integrated urban water suite is a key component and we are building a solution which will support integrated urban water management at all scales: from individual lots right through to cities within catchments. Our platform will enable concurrent simulation of the water supply, stormwater, wastewater and groundwater components of the water cycle, as well as ecological response models of waterways. It will enable faster and more effective evaluation and assessment of water management options in the light of changing climate and demand, as well as supporting water sensitive urban design objectives.
This workshop will cover the key features and capabilities that are being developed for the urban water industry. This includes the improved functionality of music v4, the tool for predicting urban stormwater quality and the performance of water sensitive urban designs.
