Humanitarian Engineering Summit Outcomes
The recent Brisbane Humanitarian Engineering Summit was an inspiring day in which some of the industry's brightest minds gathered for presentations and roundtable discussions on the key theme of humanitarian engineering.
This week, the ABC's 7pm News program ran a great feature about the summit, with some powerful footage and commentary from Australian of the Year Simon McKeon and Engineers Without Borders' Lizzie Brown.
It's not too late to get involved.
We've set up a collaborative online platform together with Engineers Without Borders and RedR. Here, the ideas discussed on the day can be explored further by all engineers with an interest in humanitarian engineering.
User Voice is a collaboration tool – the more people we have participating on the site, the better the engineering outcomes will be. Please feel free to share the site with all of your engineering colleagues.
The concepts and ideas collected on User Voice will form part of the content of the Year of Humanitarian Engineering Conference, which is being held at the end of this year. This fantastic event will be the culmination of an exciting year for humanitarian engineering.
