Humble farm tractor gets humanitarian make over
There are millions of anti-personnel mines scattered around the world. Many lie in villages and the surrounding agricultural areas. This has inspired work in Italy to develop a faster, more mechanised method of finding and digging up anti-personnel mines, based on the use of conventional agricultural machines common in many of the mined areas.
