The plan to save Australia’s busiest railway track
Last week the ABC’s 7.30 program reported on a $40 million maintenance program ordered to save the Sydney-to-Melbourne rail track. It involves “lifting up the entire rail and sleepers then dragging a sled under to scrape out the mud-fouled stone ballast.”
