Proposed Australian Society for Defence Engineering Group in WA
The Australian Society for Defence Engineering (ASDE) is a technical society established by Engineers Australia, providing a bridge between the engineering team and other practitioners. The ADSE acts as a pathway for mutual technical development, enabling its members to network, expand and share knowledge with like-minded professionals.
Engineers Australia WA Division is currently seeking expressions of interest from members who may wish to be on the proposed ASDE committee or be part of a new WA ASDE chapter.
The chapter will aim to hold formal technical presentations and site visits throughout the year. Membership is open to serving and retired members of the Australian Defence Force and allied services, as well as those with an interest in defence engineering from government, industry, commerce and academic institutions. Members do not have to be members of Engineers Australia.
