Straw Tower School Competition
Newcastle Division of Engineers Australia is taking part in the Hunter Innovation Festival and as part of this festival will be hosting the "Innovation Games”.
The Innovation Games are held to encourage Year 4 students to work in teams on an engineering project, and have lots of fun!
The Straw Tower Challenge is targeted to encourage students’ interests in engineering through innovation and a hands-on activity, which we believe your students will enjoy the challenge of constructing and then testing.
There will be some great prizes up for grabs thanks to our generous Prize Sponsor, Educational Experience, who we would like to thank for their continued support of these initiatives. Educational Experience would also like to offer schools competing a discount on the materials required.
