Telecommunications Infrastructure Report Card
Engineers Australia has released its first report card on Australia’s telecommunications infrastructure. The Engineers Australia 2007 Telecommunications Infrastructure Report Card, provides an assessment of Australia’s fixed and mobile infrastructure.
Rankings are assigned to each statistical division in all States and Territories and the ratings range from A (very good) to F (inadequate). The ratings are based on the number of fixed access points per household and mobile access points per user, and adjusted for population density. The on-line report card will include tables, maps and commentary for each State and Territory as well as recommendations.
