Understanding the Amendments to The Professional Engineers Act (2002)
As a professional engineer it is your personal responsibility to understand your obligations in relation to the recent amendments to The Professional Engineers Act 2002. These changes could have implications on your ability to operate as an engineer.
Ms Clare Murray, Registrar, Board of Professional Engineers, Queensland will be presenting an outline of the amendments which commenced operation on 1st July 2008. During the presentation Ms Murray will help to answer the many questions engineers have surrounding the new registration scheme.
These presentations are open to all engineers, human resource professionals and managers, and anyone who would like to better understand these recent changes.
Presentations will be held in the following regions commencing at 5.30 pm, the presentation will be 45 minutes with plenty of question time allocated at the end.
