Voting Instructions for Election of Delegate to Engineers Australia National Congress for 2010-2011
VOTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR:
ELECTION OF ONE (1) DELEGATE TO ENGINEERS AUSTRALIA NATIONAL CONGRESS FOR 2010-2011
The Election opened at 8:00am AEDST on Tuesday 27 October 2009 and CLOSES Friday 27 November 2009 at 5:00pm (AEDST). Voting in the Election is in the form of a secret ballot. An email / letter was sent with the details for voting. To assist in tracking the email, it was sent on Tuesday 27 October 2009 at approximately 7:01 am AEST (8:01 am AEDST). If you cannot locate your Voting Instructions, a copy can be obtained from help@austelect.com or by phoning Freecall 1800 224 420.
Voting is simple, to cast your vote using the Internet:
* Click on the link https://evote.electionz.com/elections/EASYD2009 or enter this voting URL address into your web browser address line.
* A login screen will be displayed and you will be required to enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) which, for this Election, is your Engineers Australia Membership Number. N.B. The login screen requires you to enter a seven (7) digit PIN so leading zeros will need to be added if your own number is less than seven (7) digits e.g. Member Number “157” would need to be entered as “0000157”.
* You will also be required to enter your five (5) digit personal Password.
* If the Membership Number and Password entered are valid and you have not previously voted, you will be permitted to cast your vote as follows:-
1. First, click in the box next to the name of your preferred Candidate (the number "1" will appear).
2. Then, click in the box next to the name of the remaining Candidate. The number "2" will appear.
3. You must click in both boxes.
4. If you make a mistake, click on the "Reset" button and start again.
5. To access the supplied CV/Policy Statement information for a Candidate, click on the “CV/Policy Statement” link adjacent to the Candidate name.
6. When you are satisfied with your choice, click on the "Submit" button.
7. You will then be asked to CONFIRM your vote.
8. To confirm your vote selection, click on the "Submit" button.
9. To amend your vote selection, click on the "Go Back" button and change your vote.
10. Click on the "Close" button to exit the voting session.
Once you have confirmed your vote selection, your Password is "consumed" and you will not be able to vote again.
