Water Corporation welcomes new General Managers
The Water Corporation has welcomed three new General Managers to its Executive team.
Ashley Vincent has taken on the position of GM Planning and Capability Group, having moved from leading the Corporation regional focus.
Mr Vincent’s former role of GM Regional Customer Services Group has been taken on by Bennie Smith, new to the Water Corporation with a background in power and water in Papua New Guinea and Rio Tinto.
Mark Leathersich, who led infrastructure planning and the development of the Corporation Water Forever strategies, has taken on the role of GM Acquisition Group.
The Water Corporation farewelled General Managers Paul Ferguson and Keith Cadee, who retired after close to 100 years collectively with the Corporation.
Chief Executive Officer Sue Murphy she felt privileged to lead such a fantastic team who have the knowledge, expertise and passion to ensure the Water Corporation provides vital water, wastewater and drainage services to its customers across 2.5 million square kilometres of Western Australia.
“These new GMs will provide the experience, knowledge and commitment to ensure we continue to meet the needs of our customers across the State,” Mrs Murphy said.
GM Planning and Capability Group – Ashley Vincent
The Planning and Capability Group includes capital investment, infrastructure planning, water industry policy, mechanical and electrical services, asset management, water efficiency projects and development services.
GM Regional Customer Services Group – Bennie Smith
Regional Customer Services Group includes five country regions (North West, Mid-West, Goldfields and Agricultural, South West and Great Southern), service delivery, operations centre, operational asset management, drinking water quality and wastewater quality.
GM Acquisition Group – Mark Leathersich
Acquisition Group includes project management, infrastructure design and engineering and construction services.
